Apple fest is over and now it is time to get ready for another art show.  I was successful in selling some of my patterns and quilt book at the craft fair.  I also received a lot of positive feedback on my work.  That was the best part. 

I am getting ready for Applefest in Woodbine, Iowa this Saturday (9-28).  This is taking up most of my free time.  I really don't know what to expect as this is my first experience with being a part of a craft fair.   I am excited as well as a little apprehensive.  I guess I will learn a lot about what to do and what not to do.  I hope at least to break even.  I will be selling small hanging quilts and patterns from my Apple Valley collection and Pumpkin Haven.  These quilts will be on display.  I will also have watercolors and prints. Maybe a few ceramic pieces.   That is still up in the air though.  Well, got to get busy.  I have a lot to do in the next three days.

I am so excited.   I sold stuff at the Second Fridays Art Show.  This is held every second Friday (hence the name) at the Park Bldg. in Council Bluffs Iowa.  This was my first time showing there.  I received quite a bit of positive feedback on my exhibit.  Looking forward to my next showing.

Today, Saturday.  I stopped by a quilt shop in Council Bluff and showed the owner three patterns from my apple quilt collection.  She bought three of each for her shop.   Cool.

Now to get ready for Applefest in Woodbine on Saturday, Sept. 28.  I am really going to be busy for the next couple of weeks.

Halloween is coming soon. Make a trip to Pumpkin Haven. Enjoy a relaxing visit to the Zombie Beauty and Spa. Try one of Chef Gourdon’s famous pumpkin pies. Shop at Hag’s Rags Bootique for that special gossamer gown or maybe the Eerie Music Shop for that special song that keeps haunting your mind. It’s all here and more.
