This is one of the fabric art pieces that I will be showing at the Art in the Park, Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa from 1:00 to 5:00 on Sunday, June 28. I will also be showing quilts that I have designed and made.
I am a painter and a quilter. Sometimes I combine the two. I would like to share my art ideas.

Cherry Picking season
Had to put the sewing and painting aside for awhile. Cherries are ripe and they won’t wait. So far, three pies made and a five quart bucket being pitted now. More still waiting on the tree. Dare I say, “Pittin’ and grinnin.” Yes, I do.

Frozen quilt
I am almost finished with the Frozen quilt. Only the binding left to do. I will never again quilt snowflakes on any quilt. It takes entirely to long. Picture to be posted later.

Armed services wall hanging
I found this panel on line and ordered three of them. I have made three of these. Each one is a little different. One has white corner blocks instead of blue and another has the stripes changed so the red is on top with the white in the middle. The size is 24” by 30”.

Top of the Frozen quilt completed.
The quilt measures approximately 54” x 64”. I am thinking about quilting snowflakes all over it, Except for the center panel.
