I am a painter and a quilter. Sometimes I combine the two. I would like to share my art ideas.

Our quilt guild has a phd program, projects have done. Well, since the guild meeting in January, I have completed these phds. Am I caught up? Not hardly. The butterfly quilt and the feathered star are hand “requilted” I don’t remember when I started them but when I got them out, the quilting was atrocious, hence “requilted.” The Noel banner was almost done so it didn’t take long to finish. The pink, green, and blue quilt is my own design, done on EQ7.

Platte River State Park
I have finished the fabric and thread picture of the Platte River State Park. This is the rocky path down to the waterfall. The location is near Lewisville, NE. I think it turned out nice. Comments appreciated.

A pocket full of posies
Christmas is over, the old year is done. The time to think about Spring has come. I can hardly wait. It is sooooooo cold. New door hangings are in the process. Here are two that I have completed. I recycled denim jeans pockets, used scraps of cotton fabric to make the flowers and old buttons for the centers. The large flower has a small pearl bead in the center. I am also experimenting with different borders.
