Windmill

This is an unfinished watercolor done on site of a windmill.  I haven’t figured out how to paint the plumes on top of the ornamental grass stems.  I am thinking that this would make another neat quilted fabric landscape.  Have to get two others done first, or maybe not.

I have made these into wall hangings and trick or treat bags.  I am teaching a class Saturday, Sept. 20 on  fusible machine applique which these are.  I have 3 more designs with Jack playing catch with scarecrow (guess who is up in the air).  Scarecrow playing tag with Bat (Catch me if you can) and  Ghosty and Jack playing hide and seek with Legs ( a spider under a witch’s hat)  They are made, just don’t have pictures of them yet.

I have Old Blue, Old Yella, now I have just finished Big Red.

Just completed this watercolor of an old red and black truck.  It was really a challenge to get the black done with all the reflections of blue, red, and green in it.  It was fun though.
